The zoo officials made the difficult decision to shoot the gorilla to protect the life of a young child who had fallen into the enclosure. The incident sparked a debate about the ethics of keeping wild animals in captivity and the responsibility of zoos to ensure the safety of both visitors and animals. Ultimately, the decision to shoot the gorilla was made in the interest of human safety, but it remains a contentious issue. **

In a hypothetical scenario where a 350 kg silverback gorilla and a lion were to face off, the gorilla would likely have the advantage in terms of strength. Gorillas are known for their incredible physical power, including their ability to lift heavy objects and their strong, muscular build. Lions, on the other hand, are known for their speed and agility rather than sheer strength. Overall, the gorilla's size and muscle mass would likely make it the stronger of the two in a direct confrontation. **

It is not advisable to try to knock out a gorilla as they are incredibly strong and powerful animals. Gorillas have a muscular build and thick skull, making them highly resistant to physical attacks. Attempting to knock out a gorilla could result in serious injury or even death. It is always best to avoid confrontation with wild animals and to respect their space and natural behaviors. **
